Over the years of strengthening her craft, she has found a particular interest in Accents/Dialects, as well as bringing her humor and particular lens into pieces. This was further continued while training abroad at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she was able to study alongside actors from all over the world. She continues to create poetry and music in her NYC apartment, when she isn't back home enjoying crabs, with Old Bay of course, and driving jet skis not entirely successfully.
About Me
Born and raised in Potomac Maryland, Meghan McLeod was, and in many ways still is, a vivacious child. While always having a connection to music, it wasn’t until she was eight and trying her hand at her first production 'Honk,' where she discovered her passion for becoming other people. She soon after ditched the competitive soccer and crushing her brother in basketball for the stage and screen.
Being from Maryland, her childhood dreams were realized when she booked a commercial for Old Bay, and became the face of the website for the duration of the campaign. Showing up on bus stops in the DMV, and bringing joy to her roots. Soon after, she pursued a degree in the arts and recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a BFA in Drama. While at CMU, she was awarded the John Arthur Kennedy Award for Excellence in Acting during her Senior year.
